Happy 7 months, Maddy & Gabe! These babies are doing some really funny things. Especially Gabe, who is: laughing in such a way that involves him pushing all the air out of his lungs until he gags; trying to sneak a drink of his bath water; and forming obsessions with strange things like the tags on his toys. Both of them are doing this funny thing we're they repeat, "ba ba ba ba" with gummy smiles and a serious overbite on Gabe's part. Still no crawling at our house, which is a good thing since we are in denial about the immediate need to childproof. Maddy scoots on her stomach, and Gabe can roll like nobody's business. Both are loving solids now. This weekend Mammaw & Pappaw fed them peas and rice and they ate more than ever.
Which reminds me, shout out of the week goes to Mammaw & Pappaw, who came for a visit and spoiled us all rotten. We are so glad you made the trip. Love you guys.
And one more shout out to my parents for the coolest tandem jogging stroller ever. Much better than the caddy that is currently shoved in my trunk. I took the babies for a walk today and it was tons o' fun. True to form, Gabe fell asleep before I got to the bottom of the driveway, and Maddy was manic, looking at EVERYTHING. The countdown to summer has begun!
