Eleven months! Can you believe it?!
Life is good for the Bentley twins. They are happy to be back in daycare with Ms. Jamey. They are eating good things like cheese and omelets and tofu, and (except their goodnight drink) completely weaned from bottles. They are crawling and cruising like mad, and we predict Gabe will be walking soon. Maddy is "jargoning," as you will see from the videos. She totally thinks she's saying something important. Pretty much everything she says is preceded by a dramatic gasp. Gabe can clap on cue.
We are making plans for their birthday. I'm thinking dinner at family friendly restaurant. Of course, you are invited, and there will be cake. It may be sugar free banana cake, but there will be cake. A couple of folks wanted ideas for bday gifts. "Make believe" toys are ideal for their age (I know they have a play kitchen coming their way). Maddy is really into puppets. Also, they both love books and musical instruments, and I am looking for age appropriate ways for them to experiment with art. We don't have any puzzles yet, so that might be a good idea. We took them on a swing in the park around the corner and they loved it. Maybe some kind of baby swing that can be attached to a tree? And, practically speaking, they will need convertible car seats once they turn one. And we will be needing ideas re. how to fit them into the Honda.
